Data Security

How do we protect your data?

  • We host our servers in secure facilities that observe a number of data security standards, including ISO 27001, SOC 1 & 2, and PCI DSS.
  • Data is stored exclusively within Canada. Multiple geographically separated locations are used.
  • Industry-standard encryption technologies are used to secure your data as it leaves your device. These are the same technologies your bank uses to protect your use of on-line banking.
  • We use a number of industry-standard server security hardening techniques including firewalls, strong encryption key based authentication methods & regular system updates.
  • Our facilities use standard high-security data center operations techniques: physical facility hardening, biometric access controls, mantraps, cameras, backup power generators, on-site 24/7 security, fire suppression systems, etc.
  • Credit card tokenization systems protect the integrity of your credit card data.
  • We work with companies such as Apple, Google, Microsoft, and other major software companies to ensure that encryption cannot be removed when communicating with ReallyTrusted servers.

Who are we?

We're an independent Vancouver-based organization. The business is managed by two brothers: Daniel Dent and Greg Dent.

Daniel Dent is an experienced software developer who also has over 15 years of experience in the web hosting industry. From time-to-time he publishes security research - he is credited with the discovery of security issues in several widely used programs. Greg Dent is a veteran Vancouver based Realtor with over 13 years in the business. ReallyTrusted is a result of the blending of Greg's experiences working within the real estate sector and his core belief that business systems should serve the client and the business needs seamlessly. Greg continues to be involved in and study the changes in the real estate sector and uses that knowledge and his understanding of technology to deliver on that central mission. As a real estate agent, Greg continues to learn the importance of being customer-centric while providing leadership and guidance - something he continues to do through ReallyTrusted.
